SCHOOL MISSION

Our school is a supportive and responsive community where all who enter feel welcomed and valued, whatever their role.

Our school endeavors to provide a rich and varied environment which offers opportunities for youngsters and adults to fulfill their potential.

SCHOOL BELIEFS

We believe in:

a partnership which includes parents, pupils, staff and the local community;

an equal opportunity for all pupils and adults who should be valued and given a sense of security, respect and dignity;

self-discipline, respect and tolerance from others and care for the environment;

providing support to pupils, parents and staff so that all in school, especially pupils, can have a positive self-concept and self esteem;

enabling pupils to achieve at the highest possible level, by meeting individual, emotional and spiritual needs.

SCHOOL AIMS

The school aims to:

fulfill its obligations to the partnership which includes parents, pupils, staff, managers and the local community;

enabling our students to be tolerant, respectful and understanding of all others in the school community, local community and wider society through:

Teaching our students about the rights and responsibilities of citizenship of Great Britain;

Teaching our students about the process and system of law in Great Britain;

Teaching our students about the democratic and political processes of Great Britain;

Teaching our students about the different religious, ethnic, cultural and other groups that exist in Great Britain, including their own.
