Online Learning Resources

Access to additional learning opportunities

All pupils take library and reading books home weekly, an opportunity to read and discuss their books with parents/carers.
Workshops have been offered to parents to help encourage reading and a love of literature at home along with reading rewards and incentives for the pupils.
Where appropriate, spelling lists are taken home for the pupils to learn with additional consolidation activities linked to current topics. Websites such as BBC Bitesize and the dyslexia intervention programme IDL are also used to assist learning in and out of school.

For further numeracy development, all pupils have access to TT Rockstars to further develop use of key number operations.

Music World

If your child has access to an instrument at home that they would like to learn to play, please contact Mrs. Prescott for a log-in to Music World! It doesn’t matter if they’ve never played before or have been having lessons for a while. Music World is a fun learning platform which takes pupils through a series of levels, teaching them via videos, games and increasingly challenging musical pieces. Pupils create their own avatars which can then earn coins and badges as they progress through the Worlds.
